FEPS Global Migration Group – 2019 Cycle

After last September conference in New York, when the FEPS Global Migration Group, chaired by former Italy’s Prime Minister Giuliano Amato, launched its paper “Prioritising people: A progressive narrative for migration” and the “10 points of reference for a progressive narrative on migration”, the work of the Group will continue in 2019 and will aim at formulating concrete policy proposals concerning primarily the establishment of more channels for legal migration, a still very controversial topic in many EU member states. A second meeting will be held in mid-July.

The Group’s meeting will be closed-door.
