Online Congress, 28 - 29 April and 3 May 2021
The Nobel Laureate Joseph E. Stiglitz, the EU Commissioner for Economy Paolo Gentiloni, German Minister on Finances Olaf Scholz and many other high-level speakers discussed socially, ecologically and economically sustainable transformations to deal with the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, which exacerbates existing inequities.
The Day of Progressive Economic Policy 2021, a three-day online congress, was organised by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), in partnership with FEPS, the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB), Dezernat Zukunft and the Macroeconomic Policy Institute (IMK).
